Elephant Beach can be reached in two major ways
Most people take a boat from the Havelock Island jetty. It usually takes 20 to 30 minutes of a boat ride with breathtaking views along the coastline. Since demand is high, it is highly recommended to book your boat tickets in advance as most permits and boat slots are pre-booked.
The trek route starting near Radhanagar Beach is meant for the adventurous. This route through lush forest is about 2 km long and enables one to explore the island’s natural beauty from close. However, the trek route could be quite exhausting and may not be ideal for young children and elderly visitors.
